How could this position be even more "comfortable“? (Ch. calyptratus) [Inferion7] – Ragnar
This short video is about my veiled chameleon named Ragnar. He is a son of Viktor (soon, there will be a video about him) and a grand-child of Bublík (my previous old videos about slightly blue veiled chameleon).
I've never seen a chameleon hanging that way before, it must be very uncomfortable but chameleons are strange in a way that they can hang in every possible position and it seems comfortable for them. Don't forget they're pretty strong.
Music was composed by me, I have a digital piano Yamaha NP-V80 piaggero. I've been playing on piano since July 2012.
I work with the following software: Audacity, Magix Music Maker, FL Studio, Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, Adobe Premiere Pro

      @metaknight115 5 місяців тому

      Spiders are purely instinctual, and don’t require space to roam around like more intelligent animals such as a snake or a lizard, and he probably bought that mouse from a dedicated reptile/exotic pet shop, where live bugs and rodents are available in mass to feed to your tarantulas, snakes, lizards, and other scaly pets

      @metaknight115 5 місяців тому

      @@TheVanillatech Well, this isn’t a cat or a dog, it’s a spider. It’s tame, not domesticated, it still has natural instinct, which is why it’s best to replicate their natural habitat as much as possible. It’s why people give them space to burrow and such, give them any sort of enrichment they’ll actually use. Basically any pet is “trapped with you”, your dog or cat is trapped in your home, your fish are trapped in their aquarium, your bird is trapped in it’s cage, but they don’t care, they’re perfectly happy being in captivity (as long as they get their free time, I’d love to have a bird but I know they need at least four hours or more outside of their cage).Tarantulas don’t care about being in the wild, if they have space the burrow and a clean source of water and food, they’re happy. I’m saying he didn’t buy that mouse from petco or petsmart, that mouse was specifically bred to be fed to exotic animals like tarantulas, small snakes, and large lizards. He didn’t pretend to buy a pet so he could secretly feed the mouse to his tarantula, the people who sold him that mouse knew exactly what he was going to do with it.

    That mouse is dangerously big for that tarantula and could've seriously harmed it. Additionally, if your tarantula isn't fully grown and going to moult again, having high amounts of calcium in their diet (and mammals have lots of calcium) could result in moulting issues, potentially killing your tarantula. Also obnoxious click-bait titles like this just create more fear and misunderstandings for arachnophobes.
